Who We Are

HKB Construction PLC is a leading Ethiopian construction company established in 2014 by three seasoned professionals with a startup capital of 5,394,000 ETB. Headquartered in Addis Ababa, Yeka Subcity, near the Ministry of Mines and Energy, we also operate branch offices across the country

HKB is owned and managed by Mr. Habtamu Abdisa (General Manager and Board Chair), Eng. Kondale Yisak (Deputy Manager and Board Member), and Mr. Biruk Awoke—each with a strong background in full-time and contract-based construction work. Since its founding, the company has been committed to delivering high-quality and reliable infrastructure services in water supply, irrigation, drainage systems, civil works, and sanitation. With over 15 major projects completed and an annual turnover exceeding 105 million ETB, HKB has earned a reputation for excellence and dependability. Some of our key achievements include the construction of water supply systems, orphan centers, and irrigation projects in various regions including Oromia, SNNPR, and Benishangul-Gumuz. Currently, we are working on the Jallo Dida medium-scale dam irrigation project in West Arsi Zone and the Sirima small-scale irrigation project in Bale Zone.
